Lord of the Dance!
In music this term the children have really enjoyed listening to different pieces of music and giving their opinions on them. One piece of music that they have really enjoyed is Lord of the Dance by Roman Hardiman. They have loved moving and dancing to it and have often requested it when getting changed for PE and at home time. They watched a video clip of Michael Flatley and his team dancing to it and they were inspired to join in and try it out, even doing the ‘Flatley pose’ at the end! It’s so lovely to see them really enjoying and having fun with music! Go Year 1!
