Week 7 Friday

Good afternoon Year 2.

Well, we've got to the end of a half-term. This is the point I would be telling you to remember to keep yourselves safe, play in safe places and come back to school in one piece! Sadly, we won't be coming back to school after the half-term break but I still need you to keep yourselves safe.

When you send me photos and videos of your work it makes me extremely proud, you are amazing and I love seeing what you are doing. Keep the photos coming over half-term and I will share them after the holiday.

Our Shooting Star this week is someone who has put a smile on my face I think every day this half-term. Not only is she doing the home learning that is set but she is keeping me up to date with all the other activities she is doing which is amazing to see. Well done Alice, you are fabulous and working so hard.

Take care of yourselves

Mrs Hill

Good morning Year 2, it's Friday.....the last day of half-term. After today there won't be any home learning until Tuesday 2nd June but later today I will pop some activities on for if you want some ideas for over the half-term holiday.

I have safely transferred our chrysalis to the net, the lid was very tight on the pot and it took me a while to get it off! I was able to get a clear photo of the chrysalis though so make sure you have a look. If any of them hatch over the half-term I will upload photos and videos to the caterpillar section so keep checking!

Your tasks today on BBC Bitesize for Maths (challenges) and Topic (Music), for Literacy you can choose whether to continue with feathers or birds in general. Perhaps you could video yourself as part of the music? If your video is less than 25 seconds I will be able to upload it to our webpage.

Today's challenge:

I know you enjoy code-cracking (but can you spot Mrs Hill's spelling mistake?)

Have a great day, looking forward to hearing from you

Mrs Hill
