For Safer Internet Day, Year 5 have been looking at social media apps. We have discussed the dangers with them and how best to use them safely. Year 5 signed an Online Safety Pledge which acknowledges how we will behave when online and how to treat others with respect. We discussed our 'Digital Footprints' and how we need to be careful with what we post online as it will remain there. The children then designed their own online safety posters which used collages consisting of different app icons.
