In this term's topic we are looking at different artists who painted pictures of landscapes. Today we looked at Cezanne and Monet and copied some of their ideas.
Look at our amazing pictures!
Today we looked at the artist Seurat and the technique he used to paint his pictures. We had a go by using cotton buds to make the marks on the paper.
We have looked at David Hockney today and noticed the bright, vibrant colours he used in his paintings. We had a go at working in his style using pastels and crayons.
We have been very busy today sketching our local area. We drew some observational drawings of the landscape around our school.
We used a paint program on Purple Mash to draw our own landscape pictures.
This week we painted watercolour landscape pictures. We used very fine brushes so we could paint with detail in our pictures.
