Reading buddies

Everybody in Year one has been paired with someone from Year five as their Reading buddy. This takes place every Friday afternoon. They both enjoy the session- Year one read their own book and explain the story and the Year five enjoy listening and asking questions. Just before half term Year 5 also shared with their buddy their own spooky story. It was nice to see their hard work and swap roles for a few minutes!
