We all did amazingly well with our fiction comprehension yesterday, so here’s something that’s a bit trickier – we’ve got a non-fiction (that means it isn’t made up and is about real things) text about dolphins, a very interesting animal! The key idea with non-fiction comprehensions is to make sure you keep looking back at the text to pick out the facts that answer the question. Don’t try and remember everything and don’t mix it up with a general knowledge quiz –your answers need to come from what you’ve read, not what you already know about dolphins. Good luck and I’m sure you’ll be experts on these creatures in no time!
