Magnificent Magnets!
Year 3 have had fun in science experimenting with magnets - we tested different materials to find out if they were magnetic or non-magnetic. Our results surprised us - a lot of us thought that everything metal would attract to a magnet, but it had to have iron, nickel or colbalt in it to be magnetic; you can see us moving around the iron filings to prove that iron is very magnetic!
