Victorian Classroom
On Thursday afternoon, Year 5 were visited by Miss Banks, a Victorian school teacher. The children were given new names and dressed up as Victorian Children. They were then taught and had to behave as though they were in Victorian times. Year 5 did some reading, writing and arithmetic using slate boards and ink quills. Miss Banks was extremely strict and somewhat scary but the children had an excellent afternoon and learned how different school life was!
