Good afternoon everyone,
I hope you have all had a good day, I have really enjoyed being in school with the second 'bubble' of Year 1 children, it's been lovely to see their smily faces again and they have all tried really hard with their learning and getting used to the new routines!
Thank you to those who have sent me work, I will add to our gallery later!
Have a lovely evening - see you in the morning!

Good morning everyone!
I hope you have all had a great weekend and are ready for another week of super work! As I have said in our weekly overview, this week is 'Transition Week' so you will be doing activities to help towards moving onto Year 2 in September, I will be doing the same activities with the Year 1 children in school as well. If you haven't already, have a look at Mrs Baron's special message to you all on our 'Special Messages About Year 2' section.
So today you have maths on BBC Bitesize (fractions this week), Literacy on Lancashire plans all linked to Robots, Mathletics, Reading Eggs and then a transition task to complete a booklet 'All About Me' (see below). If you can't print out, just complete the activities in your workbook or on paper, it doesn't matter as long as it is your neatest work as I will be sending it to your new teacher Mrs Baron, so don't forget to email it to me!
Extra challenge for the week - have a look on our Right's Respecting Schools section of the school website and try some of the challenges or activities on there either from the main page or from one of the 'Article of the Week' PowerPoints.
Have a great day everyone, I will be back online later to upload your work!

PS: Well done to Lottie who has now completed ALL of the Year 1 Mathletics tasks, getting 90% or more for every one! What a star!
