Mindfulness and Zones of Regulation

We've been working on recognising and regulating our emotions through the brilliant book, 'The Road To Regulation', finding out about how we can tell when we are in the 'yellow zone', getting anxious, worried, silly or frustrated and regulating these emotions back down to the green zone where we are calm, happy and ready to work - before they cross over into the red zone and we loose control. One of the techniques we tried was guided meditation focusing on our breathing. We said it made us calm, happy and got rid of worries! Good job Year 3.
