Internet Safety
This week as part of Internet Safety Week we have looked at the story of Smartie the Penguin in class. Smartie has a new tablet and through the story he learns how to navigate using it in a safe way by asking a grown up that he trusts whenever something comes up on his tablet that he is unsure of such as pop up ads, mean comments, games that are not age-appropriate and so on. The children learned only to go online when an adult is nearby and if they are ever worried or unsure they should stop and tell someone and not try to deal with it alone. We have a display of our Internet Safety rules in class.
