World Mental Health Day was this week and Year 5 have have been looking at how important it is to be aware of our mental health and that of others. We discussed how mental health has many different forms and can affect people in different ways. We looked at ways in which we could manage our own mental health and support others. Talking to people is very important and so is listening. Our mental health discussions linked well with our work on Zones of Regulation and we talked about how these could be used to sort out problems.
