Good afternoon,

I hope you are all doing OK and have managed to complete a few of the set tasks.  Thank you to those of you who have emailled me your work and been in touch, it's lovely to hear from you and see how you are getting on!  I know a few of you struggled to get onto Reading Eggs today, I'm not sure what was happening but it must have been a website issue as nothing my end seemed to be wrong.  Hopefully it will be back on track tomorrow 

I've had a nice day in school with the Key Worker children and the sun even came out for a bit in the afternoon!  I'm heading home now to see how my two girls have got on with their work under their Dad's supervision!

Good morning everyone,

I hope you are all well and like me crossing your fingers for some nicer weather today! I am in school looking after Key Worker children again today so might not be as fast at responding to emails but I will do my best to get back to you when I can.  

You have maths and geography on BBC Bitesize today and the Literacy carrying on with the Rumble in the Jungle theme of work on the separate plan.  Don't forget your Reading Eggs and Mathletics and all the other daily tasks too if you have time.  Fit in what you can.

Hello Year 1 – hope your all having a good week.

I have a little challenge for you today – can you draw a character (or characters) from one of your favourite TV programs? It could be Charlie and Lola,  Peter Rabbit or one of the Octonauts – you choose! You could use pencils, crayons or draw it on the computer. If you use the computer use the 2paint App:

Login to PurpleMash

- Click on TOOLS (pencil case icon)

- Scroll down the page a little and under the ART & DESIGN section, click on 2Paint (coloured pens icon).

- Click Launch App

It would be great if you could label your picture – tell me who the character is. You could even write me a sentence to say why you like to watch it.
