Our Funtastic Maths!
In Year 3 we love our maths investigations, to help us build resilience, apply what we've learned and think mathematically!
We've enjoyed using our addition and subtraction skills to solve the 'Subtraction Surprise!" investigation - start with a number, flip the digits then subtract it. Take that answer, flip the digits then add it. We found an interesting pattern!
We also played 'Strike it Out" to work on our skills representing numbers on the number line and our addition and subtraction - the rules are simple but fun; if you'd like to have a go, check out the video below!
