Science - Animal Groups
Today we started our science topic which is all about animals! We looked at lots of pictures of different animals and tried to name as many as we could. We then learned about different animal groups and put our animal pictures with the correct labels. Her are the groups that we learned about:
fish - live in water, can’t breathe out of water
birds - have beaks and feathers
mammals - have hair or fur
amphibians - look wet to touch, no fur or hair
reptiles - look rough or dry to touch, no fur or hair
We also learned that humans are animals too, just very special ones that can do more things than most other animals such as talking!
