Sunflower Science
As part of our topic on plants, we have been growing sunflowers in class. We planted the seeds a few weeks ago and watched them gradually start to germinate and grow. We talked about what the seeds needed to start growing and how we can help them to continue to grow well. Today (Monday 9th May) we have taken our seeds home to see who can nurture the tallest sunflower before we break up for summer. There might be a prize for the tallest one!
