Week 6 Monday

Well done to those of you who have emailed your Horrid Henry letters today, I knew you would enjoy this activity.

No change with our caterpillars! The two are still hanging from the underside of the lid and the other two are still eating the food at the bottom of the pot. I will keep checking on them tonight.

I'm in school tomorrow so I'll need to set my alarm for earlier in the morning!

Enjoy your evening

Mrs Hill

Good morning Year 2, it's Monday again! I hope you all had a wonderful time celebrating VE Day on Friday, don't forget to email photos of your celebrations so I can add them to our page.

I've added two photos of our caterpillars this morning; one from last night and one from this morning. Last night when I checked there was one caterpillar hanging down from the underside of the lid ready to make a chrysalis and this morning there are two. I will keep my beady eye on them today and post any changes.

For your learning today you have got a lesson about a famous person (you have heard about him in school) and adding/ subtracting two digit numbers which we are really good at (don't forget to partition). Literacy is using Horrid Henry stories and you will be writing a letter today.

Today's challenge:

Have a great day,

Mrs Hill
