Today, Monday 13th September was Roald Dahl Day. We learned about who he is and why he is so special. Did you know he was a fighter pilot in the war and that he named the character of Sophie from the BFG after his granddaughter? Lots of us knew some of his stories and had seen some of them as films. Our class story is George's Marvellous Medicine, so during the day we made our own medicine pictures, coloured some pictures and wrote our own ideas for marvellous medicine recipes before listening to more of the story at the end of the day. All of our work was put together onto a very colourful corridor display! Have a look at some of our work below.
