Cress Investigation
In Science, we have been learning about plants and how they grow from seeds or bulbs. We talked about what plants need to help them grow and made a list of oxygen, sunlight, water and soil. We were curious what would happen to the seeds if they didn't have all the things they need.
We set up an investigation to find answers to this question. Together we decided what we would test and change and what would stay they same.
Pot 1 - Everything (seeds get soil, water, sunlight and oxygen)
Pot 2 - No sunlight but everything else (we put this in a cupboard)
Pot 3 - No water but everything else
Pot 4 - No oxygen but everything else (we put this in a zipped plastic bag)
Pot 5 - JUST soil
Pot 6 - No soil but everything else.
