Why were children evacuated from big cities to Bacup in World War 2? We used a whole lot of resources to investigate and find out - including what air raids were, what kind of dangers ordinary people faced in the war from the risk of fire and the worry of gas attack and what the role of the Air Raid Protection wardens was. Good work Year 3!
