This afternoon we had a little talent show in class. The children were told a couple of weeks ago about Northern’s Got Talent and many of them were keen to show us their talents. They have practiced their acts at playtimes and planned what to do completely by themselves so us teachers had no idea what to expect. Every year we try to have a little talent show as the children get to learn a little bit more about each other’s skills and hobbies, they get to experience live performances and also for those who take part they get to push themselves out of their comfort zones a little and feel the warmth of their peers applause for a job well done. This year did not disappoint! So many had a go and were very brave getting up in front of everyone to show their skills. We were blown away and it was a tough decision to make as to who should go through to perform in front of the rest of the school in our grand final next week. Well done to everyone who had a go and good luck to our finalists:
Jacob will be telling jokes and riddles.
Harriet & Lucy T will be doing a cheer routine.
Jen will be singing her favourite Ed Shearan song.
Ruby & Scarlett will be doing a cheer routine.
