As part of our science topic on animals, this week we have been bird watching! We have watched a video clip about common UK birds and then went on a bird hunt in the classroom. We had a sheet in our books with pictures of birds on. Around the classroom there were different bird pictures with their names underneath. Our job was to match the birds with the ones on our sheet and copy down their names correctly. We really enjoyed the task and matched them up well and might be able to spot and name some of these birds now if we see them out and about.
