Chinese New Year

This week (31st Jan - 4th Feb) Reception have been learning about the Chinese New Year.

We have completed lots of different activities and learned how it is celebrated. We know that is it is Year of the Tiger. We also know that people who celebrate Chinese New
Year start by cleaning their homes before putting up decorations and making lanterns. They like to enjoy a meal with 9 dishes as 9 is a lucky number. 

We worked together to make our own collaborative Chinese Dragon and then moved with it to some Chinese music.
