Anti-Bullying Week
This week in school is Anti-Bullying week. The theme this year is 'One Kind Word' and we have been focusing upon how what we say can have a big impact on others either positively or negatively. We have talked in class about who has been kind to us and who has said kind things to us and recorded them in our PSHE big book. On Tuesday we looked at some quotes from different famous people about kindness, our favourite was about being a rainbow to another person's cloud (see pic below) and we all agreed that we should try to do this every day. Circle time has focused upon how our words can influence the feelings of ourselves and others and that no one should make another person feel sad or unhappy. We said nice things about each other and told our Circle time friend "Sunny" what made us feel happy.
