Odd Sock Day
Today many of us came to school in odd socks to mark the beginning of Anti-Bullying Week in the UK. We talked about why we were wearing the socks and how we can stop bullying from happening in our school. In assembly we watched a video clip that encouraged us to speak out and call out bullying. By wearing odd socks we have all looked a bit odd today, but that doesn't make us any less special and it shows how individual we all are as no one had the same socks on! Being different is cool and amazing and not something to be made to feel sad or unhappy about. At Northern we celebrate our differences and love that we are all individuals.
