Arts Week
On Tuesday afternoon we looked at 2D drawing, we talked about expression and feeling and looked at how we could draw faces differently to change mood and expression ( changing the shapes of eyes, mouth etc.)
Next, we spoke about how unique we are and how our own personal characteristics shape who we are. We drew a self-portrait on one side of the face and pictures of our likes and personality on the other.
For Music Day we learned a to sing and sign the song You Are My Sunshine.
We did a Name The Disney Song quiz, which the children were very good at. After that we made our own rain stick.
We than created our own musical composition using only our body parts. We made our own symbols and then we performed it in front of the class.
In between the children chose lots of their favourite songs and we sang along to them.
A lovely day was had by all ☺️
