We're going to focus on conjunctions in literacy today - those fun words that glue bits of sentences together, like when, before, after, until.

Now that you've got the idea of conjunctions, here's the fun bit. Can you rewrite the first part of Stig of the Dump from Stig's point of view using conjunctions?

 

My example might look like;

 

I was busy digging out the side of my cave when I heard a huge crash coming from my roof. After I put my tools away, I crept closer to the noise. I couldn't get back to work until I knew it was safe...
