Roald Dahl Day
Year 5 have been focusing on the Twits as part of our learning on Roald Dahl Day. We read parts of the story and examined how Mr and Mrs Twit play tricks on each other. The children then devised their own Twit style pranks, writing about these and then placing them into a storyboard. In Maths we were solving word problems which all had a Roald Dahl theme. We then spent some time using the internet to research interesting facts about the life of Roald Dahl which we then placed in a biography about him.
