Week 6 Thursday

Good afternoon,

Pop over to our caterpillars section; I have been watching our caterpillars all day and they've been so active. I've uploaded a few short videos so you can see what they have been doing. It's very easy to get distracted by them so maybe it's just as well we're not in class, we would never get anything done!

It's been lovely receiving work off you today, it's so nice to see your smiling faces and how proud you look with your work. I'm super proud of you and I'm sure your grown-ups are as well.

The sun has been shining all day today, me and Lucas enjoyed a walk with Flynn before dinner. It's noticeably busier out and about now. Lucas said it was like we've all been caterpillars in our cocoons and we're starting to emerge as butterflies!

Until tomorrow, stay safe

Mrs Hill

Good morning Year 2,

The sun is shining this morning although it's very cold here; there is frost on my garden!

Your Literacy today is continuing with Horrid Henry, I wonder how many of you will be honest about cheating at games! I can tell you who it is in my house who always likes to 'bend the rules', I wonder if you can guess who? Maths (BBC Bitesize) is number bonds to 100 and Topic is DT on Bitesize.

No further change in the caterpillars so far today. When all the chrysalis have formed I will remove the lid from the pot and put it in a large net so that when the butterflies hatch they have got space to move around. I can't wait for that part!

Today's challenge:

Have a great day, looking forward to hearing from you.

Mrs Hill
