Wednesday Week 4

What has happened to the weather today? I've been listening to the raindrops hitting the window but at least it's washed away the paint that Lucas spilled outside yesterday wink

What has been your favourite activity today? I'm really pleased to see the Literacy work you are sending, I knew you would like this unit!

Until tomorrow, enjoy the rest of the day.

Good morning Year 2, I hope you are all well and ready for another day of home learning. What has been your favourite task so far? I know you are enjoying the Literacy work, today's work made me think of my Lucas- he's always hungry! You will need to ask a grown-up to help you understand the words sin and asinine. Maths is more money work, comparing amounts today and there is a Science lesson on materials https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/tags/z7s22sg/year-2-and-p3-lessons/1

Today's challenge: think back to our Geography work or do some research and write down the names of the continents, remember there are 7!

When I came downstairs to take the photo of our caterpillars this morning none of them were climbing straight up the pot so you can see how long they are. Instead, on today's photo you can see how the bodies are split into segments and there are tiny hairs on each segment. Why do you think the body is split into segments?

Have a good day

Mrs Hill
