Week 6 Friday

The end of another day and the end of another week! Unfortunately the sun seems to have disappeared here again, fingers crossed for a return over the weekend.

Have a look at our caterpillars, I have uploaded some more videos today (just ignore the sounds of the washing machine!)

Did you enjoy the sing-along today? There will be a new song to learn next week.

Our Shooting Star this week is awarded to someone who has been sending photos of his work daily, I know he is keeping busy and completing the home learning tasks so I am really proud of him.....................well done Toby!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, stay safe.

Mrs Hill

Good morning Year 2, it's another sunny day here so fingers crossed it continues into the weekend.

I hope you enjoyed the videos of our caterpillars yesterday. There's no further changes this morning but I've moved the pot next to me. If anything interesting happens I will video it and upload it to the caterpillars section.

Your work today is writing a diary entry to finish this week's work on Horrid Henry. I wonder if it has made you want to read more of the stories? My Lucas used to love reading them! Maths (BBC Bitesize) is challenges and Topic (BBC Bitesize) is Art today, that sounds like lots of fun! Think outside the box- do you have to work on paper? Maybe you could work outside with chalks or even water and paintbrushes. Be creative! Lucas does all his painting projects outside; at the moment part of our patio is multi-coloured with paint but it will wash away when it rains.

Don't forget the sing-along at 3pm!

Your challenge today:

Have a look at the ongoing scores- it's getting very close!

Have a good day,

Mrs Hill
