Animal Science

In science this week we have been talking about how animals can belong in different groups.  To introduce the idea of this, the children were given lots of pictures of animals and had to decide in teams how to group the animals by looking for things they had in common.  The children then decided on their own categories to put the animals into.  There was a little discussion with one group as to whether 'cute' could be a category or not!  Well done Year 1!
