Science

In science this term we have been learning about how humans are different to robots.  This week our lesson focused on body parts.  We were discussing how people can adapt if they are missing or lose a body part or sense such as sight or hearing and how a robot could not adapt as easily.  We had a go at writing our names with our non-dominant hands and founds that we were much slower and messier than with our dominant hand which shows how much we have to practice to master writing.  We agreed that with time though if we had to we would be able to learn to write with our opposite hand but it would be hard work!

We then worked in pairs with a list of body parts and had to order them from most to least important.  We had to agree with our partners and be able to explain our choices to the rest of the class.  We did very well at this and came up with some really good reasoning!
