PDSA Visit
Today we have had a very special day here at Northern. We have had worskhops held all day by Kylie who is a Veterinary Nurse from PDSA. The PDSA is a charity which was set up in 1917 by one woman - Maria Dickin - who wanted to provide animal care that was accessible to everyone. Her vision was to provide free animal treatments and care to all animals and 103 years later, this vision is still going strong. The vets and veterinary nurses work tirelessly to provide a high level of care for all animals and it has been a real learning curve for our children today finding out all about the animals and the work this amazing charity does.
