• Special Visitor!

  Today we have had an exceptionally special person in school. Father Christmas took a few hours out of his hectic schedule in order to deliver presents to every child here at Northern. The children were so excited and enjoyed their trip to our beautifully decorated grotto. A massive thank you must go to our elves from Year 6 - Paul and Amelia for helping Father Christmas give out the presents and Father Christmas also commented on how polite the children here were so well done to the children.

  

• Reception's Christmas Activities

  Today the parents of our Reception children were invited into school to take part in some Christmas activities with their child. There were activities such as Playdo and Lego creations, writing a Christmas, making snowman and decorating a gingerbread man. Many thanks to all the parents who managed to attend.

  

• Year 5 and 6's Christmas Party

  This afternoon our Year 5 and 6 children had their Christmas party. It was the last party of the week to be held in school and the children have had a fantastic time. They danced, played games, won prizes and had some party food. Many thanks to the staff involved for making it such a great event.

  This morning, our children were treated to a fantastic Christmas party that involved games, dancing and prizes. The children had a super time and many thanks to the staff involved for organising such a great event.

  

• Reception's Trip

  Today our Reception children went to the theatre to watch Snow White. They travelled to Heywood to watch the magic of this classic fairy tale brought to life. They behaved magnificently and had a fantastic time. Well done Reception.

  

• Year 1 and 2 Christmas Party

  Today our Year 1 and 2 children have had a fantastic Christmas party. They have sang, danced, laughed and played games. A massive thank you to the staff for organising such a great party.

  

• Reception's Performance

  Today our amazing Reception children performed for their friends and families. They looked amazing in their costumes and sang and spoke beautifully. The children have worked so hard for this and this showed today through all the beaming smiles from the audience.

  Today our Reception children have enjoyed themselves at their Christmas parties. They played games, danced and had a fantastic time. Many thanks to all staff for making this party so much fun.

  

• Christmas Jumper Day

  Today our children looked fabulous in their Christmas jumpers which really brightened up the assembly today. The children have helped to raise money for Save the Children and understand the importance of helping others who are less fortunate than them. We saw so many bright colours and festive slogans that it has been a pleasure admiring them all. Many thanks to everyone who supported this fantastic cause.

  

• Christmas Lunch

  Today our children and staff have enjoyed a lovely Christmas dinner. The staff served the children and then ate together with their class. Reception and Year 6 had their lunch together and a fantastic time was had by all. Well done to all involved in delivering this special event.
