Creative Friday
In Year 5 we have had a creative Friday. We have taken part in different Halloween themed activities. For Maths, we worked in pairs to create a mosaic of a spider which was symmetrical. In English, we wrote our own spooky stories to read to our Year 1 Reading Buddies. We included them in our stories as the main characters! In the afternoon we learned the poem Halloween Night and performed this as a class. We came up with our own actions to add to the performance. To finish the day we read our stories to our Reading Buddies in Year 1 and then we did some Halloween art, drawing pictures of our favourite Halloween characters.
