Race for Life
Today (8th June) Year 1 were amazing and all took part in the Race for Life on this glorious sunny afternoon! They were fantastic and all made it around the field 8 times, which for little Year 1 legs was a huge achievement! It was wonderful to see them all encouraging each other and showing such determination to succeed! Jac came first, followed quickly by Ben and then Eliza in third! All of the children did so well and we were really proud of them. A very touching moment was when some of the junior children, who were playing out on the yard below started clapping and cheering the children on! This was so lovely because the children have all spent so long this year having to be separated into bubbles that having other children supporting them really gave them a boost and they all had huge smiles on their faces! Well done Year 1!
