Roald Dahl Day
Today our Year 6 children have been studying the Roald Dahl classic Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. This morning we were looking at the characters who won Golden Tickets and how clever Roald Dahl was at naming them and matching it to their personality. The children then had a go at creating their own characters and had great fun guessing what their friend's character name told us about their personality! Then in the afternoon, the children had to imagine they were applying for a job with Willy Wonka and become a Master Inventor! They had to devise a sweet that would intrigue Willy Wonka and then design super eye-catching packaging. Well done Year 6!
