Good afternoon,

Well done everyone for another great day!  Did you enjoy the little film about the boy and the robot today? The children working with me in school did and did some lovely writing about it  - have a look in our gallery!  Well done to those who have been cracking on at home too, it will really make a big difference to your learning ready for September.  The rain seems to be back so it looks like I have a soggy drive home now!

Good morning!

I hope you are all well and ready for the day!  I'm in school again with some of Year 1 and it's lovely to see them all!  You have the usual tasks for Literacy and Maths so just follow the usual guidelines for those.  

Your 'topic' or transition task today is all about showing what you have learnt.  We would like you to design a poster or leaflet telling the Reception children what topics they will be learning about when they come into Year 1.  They will need to know what the topics are and maybe have a little picture and a few key words or facts about each one.  If you can't remember all of the topics up to Easter, here they are to jog your memories;

1) What's amazing about animals?

2) Why is London burning? (the great fire of London)

3) How do things grow?

4) What makes a family?

I can't wait for your designs!

Remember - your extra challenge this week is to have a look at our Right's Respecting School's webpage and have a go at some of the activities on there either from the main page or some of the Article of the Week powerpoints.
