Finding parts of a whole

We started our new topic learning all about living things and their habitats. We talked about what living things need and how we can tell the difference between living things, dead things and things that have never been alive.

We decided to go on a scavenger hunt with our magnifying glasses to find things that fit into all 3 categories. We talked about the importance of being quiet and respectful whilst observing living creatures.
