Lights, Camera, Fraction!
Today in Year 6, we played Benjamin's ground-breaking new game - Lights, Camera, Fraction! We played a game in class last week involving converting fractions and the children thoroughly enjoyed it. We discussed what we would say to the creator if we could give them our feedback so I challenged the class to create a fraction game themselves and Benjamin really took ownership of this. He went home and thought carefully about the aim of the game and then brought in a master idea, asked the class for input and then created this fantastic game. Along with the help of Miss Nanyn and the laminator, the game was all set up and we finally got to play it this afternoon! The classroom was buzzing with the game and the children gave Benjamin a huge round of applause! Well done Benjamin!
