Coronation Day

Today we based all of our activities around a book called "The King's Coronation" by an author called Frances Rose. It is a interactive story that meant we needed to get involved to solve problems and make decisions to help the King on his special day.

 

We did lots of different activities throughout the day including making predictions based just on the front cover, writing a book review, conducting a survey with Y2, Y3 and Y5 about which underpants The King should wear on Saturday (the Union Flag undies were the winner!), designing our own pair of pants for the King and decorating Coronation and party biscuits.

As you can see, we had a REALLY busy but fun day celebrating the Coronation!
