Cricket Taster
Today the children had a lovely time outside in the sunshine ☀️ taking part in a cricket taster session delivered by a coach from the All Stars Cricket team. They learned how to bowl the ball using the “windmill” technique and practiced bowling to each other and towards targets. They then played lots of games based on striking and fielding using bats, stumps and oversized tennis balls. The children really enjoyed the session and many of them showed signs of a potential future in cricket! Details of the club that All Stars offer were sent home as leaflets and a copy has also been added to class stories on a Class Dojo.
