Literacy
In Literacy we are continuing our character description ready for our story writing next week.
Maths
In maths we are focusing on rounding 2 digit numbers to the nearest 10.
We can use a number line to help.
- Find the number on the number line.
- Identify the multiple of 10 before and count back to this.
- Identify the multiple of 10 above and count up to this.
- Decide which multiple is the closest. - If is exactly half way between the two multiples of 10, round up.
1,2,3,4, round down and 5,6,7,8,9 round up.
