Hindu Worship

Year 3 have really enjoyed exploring this half-term's key question in Hinduism; Why is family an important part of Hindu life?

We got hands-on with Hinduism looking at different parts of Hindu worship and getting familiar with vocabulary like mandir, murti, aartis and pranam. We even made our own rakhi beads which Hindhus use in the special celebration of Raksha Bandhan!
