Week 4 Day 1

The end of another day! I can’t believe how quickly the days go...Well done to everyone who has sent me work today. You have all done so well with the new planning on bbc bite size- my Toby enjoyed using it today for his learning. We are trying to use the different resources available to us....let me know which you prefer so we can adjust for the next few weeks. Don’t worry if you can’t print out- just write down what you can and use the online information. I will upload all your pictures to the gallery later so if you haven’t sent any yet there’s still time! I am going for our daily walk today with the boys to try and release some energy and then having a bbq whilst the weather is still beautiful. Have a lovely evening...I will post again in the morning.

Mrs Dixon

Hello Year 1, Mrs Ball here again smiley – hope you all had a nice weekend!

Well done if you managed to have a go at the Mini-beast Hunt over the last couple of days. A very big well done to Harriet who managed to spot all of the creatures on the list! As a challenge today why not find out a little more about the mini beasts you've seen.

Over the last week I've noticed a few of these butterflies around.

I’ve had a little research and found they are called Orange Tip Butterflies. Only the boy butterflies have orange on their wings and the girls are all white. See if you can find an interesting fact about a creature you’ve seen recently – it could be a caterpillar, spider, beetle or worm! If you could write your fact down send me a photograph or draw me a picture that would be fantastic!

Have a good day, Mrs Ball
