Northern is an amazing place for our children to learn. In our latest news section we will share with you the latest events taking place across the school. More detailed information can be found on your child's class website page.
On Monday 12th September the whole school was lucky enough to enjoy a visit from the Lancashire Music Service band 'The Lazy Mondays'. The children gathered into the hall with much excitement at the prospect of hearing live music being played in school! The band were amazing, interacting with the children and getting them involved throughout their performance which took us on a journey through the decades from the 1960's all the way up to present day, covering a range of popular songs and music styles including Reggae, Rock and Pop! All the children from the youngest in Reception to the oldest in Year 6 seemed to thoroughly enjoy the performance. Here is what some of the Reception children had to say;
"I liked that it was noisy!" - Blair
"My favourite was the guitar." - Jackson
"I was dancing!" - Ellie
