Mad Science Water Assembly
This morning we were lucky to have a visitor in assembly who came to talk to us all about water! During the assembly we talked about all of the different uses that we have for water such as washing, drinking, swimming etc. We learned about what happens to water when it gets really cold (freezes into a solid) and when it gets really hot (becomes a gas). We watched as warm water was added to dry ice and got very excited to see it go cloudy and then bubbly! It was very exciting! We then learned about how our water “travels” by looking at the different parts of the water cycle. We did lots of actions that were fun! Matilda got the chance to play the role of a scientist as we learned about how our water is treated and cleaned at the reservoirs and then Lola got to check that the taps were clean!
