Remote Learning Day 54

Here is your work for today. Any queries, just email me at

9am - 9:30am: PE with Joe Wicks (link below)

9:30am - 10:30am Maths

For the first 15 minutes you are going to warm up your maths brain using the link below.

For the rest of this session, you are going to be completing the 3 activities I have set you on Purple Mash – aim for 8 out of 10 like we do in class. If you don’t achieve this, try again.

10:30am - 11am BREAK

11am - 12pm: Literacy: This week's topic is SPACE! Find out about the Solar System by reading these two sources and  making notes as you read about each planet (documents below). Now enjoy this rap on YouTube (video below). Based on what you have read and watched, create your own rap, song or poem about the Solar System. You may create your rap, song or poem in different ways such as:

1) Use the rap you listened to on YouTube as a starting point and edit some of the existing lyrics and add some of your own lyrics to create your own version.

2) Choose one part of the Solar System eg. your favourite planet to create your own rap, song or poem about.

3) Choose your favourite type of poem (limerick, Haiku or Acrostic) to write your own version based on the Solar System. Once you have finished, have a go at performing it to someone in your house. If possible, you could record it and send it to me or if you're feeling really creative you could make your own music video to go with the rap!

12pm- 1pm LUNCH

1pm - 2pm: Topic Work: Today’s topic work is French. You are going to be learning the basics of talking about what day, month and time it is in French. Link below.

2pm - 2:30pm BREAK

2:30pm - 3:00pm: Use this short session to work on one Spice Grid activity and bear in mind that it may take more than one session to complete it.

3:00pm - 3:20pm
