PE with Joe Wicks (web link below)

9:30am - 10:30am Maths

For the first 15 minutes you are going to warm up your maths brain using the link below.

For the rest of this session, you are going to be playing the ‘Getting Even’ maths game. Document and video below. Don’t forget to use the Year 6 instructions and resources.

10:30am - 11am BREAK

11am - 12pm: Literacy: Watch Climate Change: the Polar Bear’s Story. (video below). Now watch a second clip (link below) Imagine you have been asked to create a narrative (or voice-over) for the first clip watched today. Your voice-over would need to describe polar bears and explain how climate change is impacting them. You can use all you have read and watched over the past few days about polar bears to help you write your script (or voice over). You may choose to write this as a story which could accompany the cartoon images or a non-fiction voice over (like David Attenborough) explaining the problems. Once you have written the script, have a go at reading it over the clip – making sure it fits in the time and you get all your information across to your viewer and listener.

12pm- 1pm LUNCH

1pm - 2pm: Topic Work: Today’s topic work is Geography. You are going to be learning about The Alps including their weather, climate, animals and tourist industry. Follow the link below for the instructions and videos. The documents are below too.
